BMW foldable ebike concept

BMW follows the trend of the car manufacturers; they announced this week a new pedelec concept.

According to the information in the blog of BMW the bike has pedelec system, the motor is in the rear wheel integrated with a 3 speed hub shifter.  The technical parameters are not really outstanding: the engine is 250W with the maximum torque of 20Nm, the control unit gets the force data of the pedal via torque sensor. The battery is 42V LiMn, you can charge it in 1,5 hours. The range is 25-40 km.

Those numbers are not really unique, but the design of the bike is really outstanding, You can easy fold the bike, and very easy to transport while it’s folded. You can charge the bike in the boot of the new concept i3 BMW.
