The system is a bicycle lift operates since 1993 in this small city in Norway. The lift is 130 m long with a slope of 20%. You can travel with the maximum speed of 7,5 km/h. The usage of the system is free, however you have to invest in the operating card for a refundable 13€. The lift is currently under reconstruction to give more safety for the users.
The investment was 170.000€ value, which equals of the building cost of a bicycle path same distance.
